CHARLES DICKENS'S PROJECT.
BIOGRAPHY:
Charles John Huffam Dickens (7 February 1812- 9 June 1870) was an English writer and social critic. He created some of the world's best-known fictional characters and is regarded by many as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era.
He born in Portsmouth, Dickens left school to work in a factory when his father was incarcerated in a debtors prison. He edited weekly journal for 20 years, wrote 15 novels. Then he began his career.
SOCIETY:
The people was interesting with Charles dickens's works. There was a lot of poor people in England. Charles Dickens was in the middle class and he was well-person. And he played an important role in medicine: explained syndromes, treatment of the children...
STYLE:
Charles dickens has a very distinct writing style; he writes in a poetic way and uses a lot of satire and consequently humor. Since Dickens's started his literary career writing papers for newspapers most of his histories are in episodic form.
